Every price on the site opens what is recorded for it — the source, the product, and the collection date where the scraper stored one. The coverage below says how often each is present.
What the basket is
The headline monthly figure is a single-person household. A four-person household is not simply four times that, so do not read it as one.

What N/A means
N/A means no source produced a price for that item in that city. It is never replaced by an estimate, a country average or a neighbouring city. A missing number is more useful than a plausible wrong one.
Known limits
- Every total is for one adult. Household profiles are not implemented yet.
- Where a rental source does not name a district, one city-wide figure is shown instead of separate centre and outskirts prices.
- Rents are asking prices from listings, which run above what tenants finally pay.
- Median salaries carry their own year and can be older than the prices beside them.
- Prices are stored in USD and converted at the exchange rate shown at the time of viewing.
